"We will search every square inch of this ship. We have to find him before he causes any problems." Kathryn stated sternly pacing before the people standing to attention before her. She stopped, turned on her heel and faced them.

"I want him brought back alive, is that clear?" She nodded at the chorus of 'yes captain's' that replied.

"OK Harry you're with B'Elanna, Tuvok you go with Seven, Doctor you go with Tom. Commander Chakotay you're with me. You all have your orders, Mr Tuvok will you give you the jefferies tubes you are to cover. I want every centimetre checked twice, if you even THINK you see something, hear something, let the rest of the team know IMMEDIATELY. Lets go people." With that everyone started to move off and Kathryn strode toward the exit Chakotay in tow.

"I can't believe we are doing this Captain." He said shaking his head.

"There has to be an easier way to find this Gumbley or whatever the hell he is called." He waved his hand dismissively. Kathryn stopped and turned to face him.

"Its Gumble and I've already told you that our sensors just aren't sensitive to detect him and to increase them further would put too much of a drain on our resources. " She glared at him. Chakotay looked back unconcernedly.

"And this isn't a drain on our resources? I'm getting far too old to be crawling round jefferies tubes." He grimaced.

"And may I remind you that your entire months replicator rations rests on catching this bloody mouse of Naomi's!" She retorted

Two hours later

"Well we found the mouse."

"Hmmmmmmm."

"What is the energetic Kathryn Janeway tired?"

"After running about the inner bowels of this ship all I want to do is sleep."

"Are you sure?"

"Why? Do you have something else in mind?"

"Yeah and the best news is that it doesn't involve rodents of any kind!"

"Commander you sure know how to charm a girl!! Come on let's go back to my quarters."

"Thank you Gumbley."

"GUMBLE!"
