Kathryn opened her eyes reluctantly has she heard the chirp of the communicator beside the bed. Sitting up a little she was about to reply when she felt the movement beside her, quickly clamping a hand over his mouth and fixing with a stare, she said in her calmest voice,

"Janeway here." Tuvok’s voice floated back,

"Captain, I apologise for waking you but you requested to know when we entered the Kibu system."

"Yes thank-you Lieutenant, is there any sign of the Kibuians?"

"Not yet, but we have been picking up faint signals on our long range sensors." Kathryn nodded, she was finding it hard to concentrate, the mouth that she had covered with her hand was kissing its way up her wrist and it tickled, she swallowed trying hard not to laugh.

"The Ambassador said that they would be in contact when we had entered the heart of the system, contact me if you hear from him. Janeway out." She finished abruptly, bursting out it laughter. When she had finished she turned and leaning on one elbow looked down at her tormentor.

"That was close Chakotay, we have to be careful, you know that." He smiled wickedly at her.

"I know, I just sometimes forget where I am when I’m with you." She sniffed.

"Well if we get found out it’s all over, your lot might take it OK but the rest will have a fit."

"What? Finding out that their Captain is in fact a Maquis spy? That you never intended to catch us? No I don’t imagine they would take that well." She threw herself back against the pillow and stared at the ceiling.

"I could always tell them that you seduced me with your wicked ways."

"Excuse I seem to remember that it was a very sexy Lieutenant Commander that came on to me in that bar 7 years ago." She smiled.

"Maybe your memory’s faulty."

"Maybe I need something to help me forget." He replied pulling her over him.

"You worry too much Kath, none of them have a clue, we made pretty sure of that, we’ve got them all fooled." She grimaced.

"Did you have to be so thorough in fooling them, I think that Cardassian bitch was enough of a cover." He kissed her.

"It was all in the line of duty." She pulled away from him and raised her eye sceptically.

"And I suppose you didn’t enjoy a minute of it?" He rolled her over beneath him and continued kissing her.

"Not as much as I enjoy you."

"Yes, well you better not enjoy anyone else from now on, is that clear?" She managed.

"Yes sir! You’re the boss." He complied as she rolled him on his back.

"You’re damn right I am and you better not forget it either!" She rolled her hips suggestively.

"No sir!" He replied breathlessly.

"Now just lie back and think of the cause."
